Steam: In March, the independent games occupied the space

As every month, Valve has unveiled the list of new products that have met the most success on Steam. This list brings together the best new releases according to the turnover made during the first 2 weeks after their launch. Valve delivering games in disorder, this classification has been arranged by us according to the number of assessments.

After the spectacular successes of Lost Ark, Elden Ring or Dying Light 2 in February, March was clearly calmer in terms of new features on PC. In this context, it is the Core Keeper sandbox which with its low price of 12.99 euros stood out the most among the new outings, in front of the few representatives of big publishers that are Ghostwire: Tokyo and WWE 2K22. The fact that titles like Lost Ark and Elden Ring continued to occupy hundreds of thousand players throughout the month of March, leaving even less room for new products to express themselves. Some games have also not met expectations, in particular Shadow Warrior 3 whose magnitude of critical and commercial failure is rather unusual for Devolver Digital.
