NiOH 2 gameplay shows changes from beta version
NIOH 2 is in beta open for a short period of time, but Dengeki Online s recent gameplay sequences show that Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo take into account the comments of the players and implement them if necessary. Some of the improvements made by developers include changes in the menus and interface that have been slightly modified based on fans comments. Access to the beta included an investigation to assess what players think of the game and developers have used these comments to improve experience. NIOH 2 will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 in March 2020.
The NIOH 2 open beta player base was highly positive in the majority of the categories studied by Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo. The lowest categories were the user interface and the tutorial, both of which got a negative score of 13%. The most appreciated category was that of music and effects, which had only a negative note of 3%. The balance of difficulties, the adjustments to the dark realm and the improvements of the design of levels are among the things that developers wanted to improve and it seems based on recent gameplay sequences that they are already working to change NIOH 2 for the better . Since the original NIOH has undergone a similar feedback process after its first alpha and beta tests, it is not a new idea of Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo, although developers who implement the comments of their fans are always appreciated. The gameplay sequence also includes the scene of the Battle of Anegawa, which has been frozen because of the boss Mataka Naotora, a former warrior who has now become a yo-kai of ice. It will be interesting to see what other ways the developers are able to implement the feedback from the fans leading to the next version of March.
