In NiOH 2, a new currency was introduced in the form of Amrita, an old yellow substance with which you can initiate a Yokai shift by using your demonic heritage to become a monster for a short time. In this manual, we give you an overview of Amrita and explain what it causes how you can use it for Yokai Shift and which items you need to refill your Amrita when the juice goes out!
What is Amrita in Nioh 2?
Amrita is very similar to the souls you collect in Dark Souls - it is dropped from enemies and can be used to improve your character in the game. You'll see it if you kill everything from small gakis to huge encloses. They are the yellow balls that emerge after a hard fight and fall to their person. Amrita is bound to her Yokai heritage and can be used to initiate a Yokai shift, depending on your chosen protective spirit you need to select at the beginning of the game.
How to collect Amrita and repeated amrita
AMRITA to collect is simple and you'll learn it in a natural way by making Yokai, destroying crates and sloves chests. The balls should flow into your body and you can use them later when you find a shrine. Just go to the level-up menu and select your preferred statistics. Be warned that you lose your entire Amrita if you die during a fight or fall from a rocky leap.
You can pick it up at any time after your first death by finding out where they died, and retrieve the Amrita next to your protective spirit. There is also the possibility to pay to recall your protective spirit from a shrine outside the fight if you think it would be too difficult to recover your Amrita without him.
How to use Amrita to Yokai Shift
Now we know what it is, we go to the actual reason why you need Amrita. New in NiOH 2 is the concept of Yokai Shift, where you can use your semi-daemonic heritage to give enormous power to your enemies. At the beginning of the game, you will choose between three protective spirits and unlock many more throughout the narrative, which change the skills you can use during a Yokai layer.
As soon as you have selected your mind, you must deserve enough Amrita to use it. In the upper left corner you will see a circular symbol that contains the symbol of your chosen mind. Depending on the amount of Amrita you have, it fills yourself until it lights up. As soon as it lights up, tap on triangle and circle to trigger the Yokai shift and win the upper hand in the fight. But watch out - the yokai shift does not last long and if you are hit by enemies, your ad drops even further. So use your time with a careful! In Yokai Shift mode, tap the triangle and circle again to use your ultimate Yokai power. However, you can save it until the meter is dry as a large part of your bar is needed.
How to get more Amrita
If you are suffering from a big Yokai and need additional Amrita to restore your strength, the main method for filling is to kill more enemies and open chests. Where this is impossible, you can only crush a ghost stone, an object that is found on corpses and in chests that you find around the world. There are small ghost stones, ghost stones and great ghost stones that restore certain amounts Amrita depending on the capacity. Crushed them in combat when the enemy is elaborated otherwise to restore your Amrita and open the possibility for a Yokai shift.
